Each Monday in March we will be highlighting our fabulous 2006 Northstar Columbia Valley Merlot. This wine is “elegant and medium-bodied with bold aromas of raspberry, mint, maple, chocolate, clove, coconut and licorice. Dense, muscular, cherry fruit flavors culminate in a rich, smoky, coffee-mocha finish”

Chef Eric Wilson has created a special 4 course meal to complement the abundant fruit and soft tannins of the Northstar Merlot:

Pasta e Fagioli or Positano’s House Salad

Veal Ravioli with Mushroom Sauce and Shaved Parmesan


Pork Chop with Cranberry-Blood Orange Sauce

Cheese Plate to Share

Grana Padano, toasted walnuts and honey

Dessert to Share

Vanilla Gelato with Honey-Balsamic glazed strawberries, topped with strawberry mascarpone whipped cream.
